The week will be filled with fun and engaging art exercises guaranteed to get those creative ideas happening. Get ready for a week of energy and colour. Learn how to develop your own colour palettes. Learn how modernism changed the way we see art and how you can apply the principles to your own art making. You’ll also learn a little about colour history.
Exercises are based on acrylic paint but oil painters are welcome to use their medium.
No experience necessary. Just a love of colour and creativity. You are welcome to bring artworks for a critique as well. Get ready to develop your own expressionism!

Kristine Ballard is a Sydney based artist focusing on vibrant colour in paint. She specialises in still life and landscapes. She has worked at developing a style she calls ‘Fragmatism’. Kristine has exhibited her work nationally and internationally and completed art residencies in New York, Venice and at Australia’s oldest art colony, Monsalvat. She is a seasoned art educator having run the Northshore School of Art for 12 years, conducted corporate art events and functions and been the Arts Presenter on EdTV. She conducts demos and workshops and hosts an Art Retreat in Fiji annually. She specialises in one-to-one art tuition and art mentoring where she can fast track student development and growth.
